Prop 7 – Nouns x Noir

  • the proposer is still waiting for the “right energy” to start working on the sculptures, has been busy with auctions at Sothebys etc …, but it has been a year and a half since the prop passed with a proposed timeline of 3 months

  • money hasn’t moved from the original address (5 eth)

Prop 11 – Nouns Comic

  • proposer first wanted to return a portion of the funds (3 eth), after some encouragement they decided to pivot to a different format but then went silent (over a year and a half already)

  • I was unsuccessful in contacting them (tried multiple Twitter accounts and Discord)

Prop 48 – Nouns Psychogeography Sculpture with Dustin Yellin

  • seems to be finished according to this Tweet, but there have been no official posts from Dustin

  • shared WIP pics on Twitter & Instagram and made a video with nounish

Prop 70 – SharkDAO: Nouns CC0 Story Foundations & Development

  • the multisig is sub-optimal (1/2), with leftover 15.6k USDC

  • due to ETH drawdown and suboptimal fund management, the team had to make adjustments (received funds @ 2890/eth, converted @ 1200/eth)

    • original structure: 6 teams @ 60k each (20eth) + budget for legal fees + DAO oversight

    • new structure: 4 teams + DAO oversight

    • original payment structure: 30% Up Front, 20% Upon Rough Draft, 50% Upon Completion

  • final 4 teams are:

    • Sam Ellis & Jason Schwartz – Animated Series

      • received 10 ETH and 35200 USDC

      • created NOUNS! The Animated Series pitchbook and story bible, later went onchain to ask for funding for the pilot, but the prop was defeated

    • Greidiens / Keenan Thompson Group

      • received 6 ETH and 42000 USDC (full amount)

      • created Life Aint Bad

    • BBDAO 1 – Animated Series – Scott Albert & Will Bryan

    • BBDAO 2 – Feature Film – Van Robichaux & Garfield Lindsay Miller

      • received 6 ETH and 12000 USDC (for rough draft)

      • they made youtube videos from their writing sessions

      • the draft is not public yet

Prop 71 – Non-fungible Aotearoa: documentary about the artist behind Noun Cats

  • due to the ETH price movement & suboptimal fund management, the team was forced to sell ETH at much lower prices & later unsuccessfully tried to raise more funds to finish up the documentary (WIP version and more info on Discourse)

  • the team is now working on it without any extra funding and will try to get it played at film festivals & seek New Zealand gov funding

Prop 83 – Nouns Children’s Book Development

  • the original draft didn’t get a lot of love from the publishers, Brandon is trying a different approach (the second draft is being reviewed by his agent)

    • if the second try hits a dead end, he wants to approach the community to help him decide how to proceed

Prop 93 – Nouns Bidder POAP V2

  • behind schedule by months, (most of the team members aren’t active in the community anymore), Plaid Shaman has taken over the project

  • website is now up and running, functions also as an alternative auction front-end

  • the latest POAP you can see was for Noun 687 (over a month ago)

  • there have been no commissioned POAPs from other artists yet (“We will also aim to commission featured artists monthly that are voted on by the DAO to create unique POAP art in their own nounish style.”), but it should be coming soon

Prop 94 – Nouns cc0 Space Image Bank

  • 30 images promised (15 at the beginning, next 15 during the next 6 months)

  • 20 images can already be found on the project’s website, the next batch of photos (10-15) is planned for the first half of 2023

Prop 97 – MOOØNBEANS: Nouns Baked Beans

  • original prop assumed the product would launch in 3 months, we are currently 11 months in

  • according to their last posts, they should now be in the final stages of production and we could see the first batch (and some videos from production) this month

Prop 104 – Free Glasses For Kids v4

  • nounish made a video about this prop

  • in 5 months, The Vision Van has been able to provide 1713 eye exams and 1345 glasses (according to DMs), no media to show though

Prop 109 – Nouns Brand (Clothing Brand) ⌐◨-◨

  • nounish made a video about this prop

  • cardigan, bag, and beanies are available at clothes.wtf, no info on the rest of the collection

  • jacob is not responding to DMs

  • asked for 355 ETH @ 1100 USD/ETH, received ETH @ 1500 USD/ETH

    • spent 235 ETH, 120 still sitting in wallet

Prop 116 – Monthly Nouns Comics for mass market release

  • issues 1-4 are completed, the first issue is being printed right now and will be available for purchase at comic stores in the coming weeks

  • NFTs sold:

    • nearly 2.5k generative covers (0.0038 eth)

    • 28 mosaic series passes (0.069 eth)

Prop 119 – Esports Pod + Prop 263 Nouns Esports – CS:GO and Dota2 Rosters 2023

  • on track, signed Brazilian streamer Taki, Pokemon UNITE team, Dota 2 team, CSGO team, Fortnite duo, …

    • just recently the CSGO team competed against the best teams in Texas (and their coach got the commentators to wear noggles in front of possibly hundreds of thousands of viewers)

    • the Dota 2 team finished 2nd in the North American league and will represent Nouns at Bali Major

  • spoke at 3XP recently

  • utilizing Prop House

Prop 126 – John Hamon X Nouns

  • posters have been placed around Paris last year, John decided to do the next events in Berlin and Barcelona (as opposed to the originally proposed Marseille and Lyon), but no dates for these yet

Prop 129 – Nounify New York Fashion Week

  • delivered nearly nothing from their proposal

    • the Nouns’ presence at the event was very limited (noggles on the back side of a flyer)

    • changed the location from Oculus to a less exciting one

    • no documentary, no nounish looks on the catwalk

    • it appears they did make the leather trunk but it didn’t make it onto the catwalk

  • showed interest in “trying to make things right” at first, but have since stopped responding to my messages

Prop 132 – Nouns x Dopamine

  • waiting for sale proceeds

  • no response to DMs yet

Prop 135 – Xanadu x Nouns: Mega Episode + Real-time Nouns World Toolkit

  • delayed due to health issues and moving (estimated release date was March 2023)

  • collaborated with people from nounish communities to showcase them in the Nouns City they are building for the episode

Prop 154 – Agora Continuation [revised]

  • incentives budget so far unused

  • update on the state of agora during a townhall soon

Prop 170 – Nouns Name Service Expansion ⌐◨-◨

  • working on a bigger update that’s coming soon

  • latest stats:

    • names registered: 526 –> 1431

    • owners: 311 –> 622

    • discord: 190 –> 896

Prop 171 – DCS Pod

  • paid members 3x (as original prop was scoped for 3 months) but have been operating since November

  • funded Danizord to work on voters.wtf (25 ETH), but he is no longer responding to my DMs and I don’t see new functionality on the site

  • partnered with Precious Plastic to produce cc0 noggles (27.05 ETH)

  • returned the rest of the funds to Nouns (22.95 ETH), which resulted in 52.05 ETH awarded & 51 ETH admin costs (49.5% admin costs)

Prop 173 – Sail Nouns in the New York Harbor for NFT.NYC 2023

  • waiting for video, photos from NY were amazing

  • it supposedly turned into a 30-45 min short film

  • season 2 is being sound mixed right now, and should release soon, so hopefully, the nouns-funded season 3 releases soon after

Prop 180 – Nouns Stories: Short Shorts + Prop 259 – Nouns Short Shorts – Bonus Pack

  • the final videos were presented on Nouns Short Shorts Film Festival on June 13th in LA & live streamed on YouTube

  • All of the Snapchat filters are finished, most of the TikTok ones as well

  • hit a roadblock with the city council that completely shut off the restoration at the planned location, looking for a new location in LA

Prop 201 – Nouns Animated Sprite Sheets and Game Asset Assembler!

Prop 206 – Nouns On The Ground 2023 ⌐◨-◨

  • IRL events seem to be going well, the team just came back from Brazil (where they also painted a mural)

    • wish there were more YouTube videos from these IRL events

    • they will create a bunch of shorter videos and a bigger documentary that summarizes the whole story

  • On The Air live streams multicasted on Twitter, TikTok and Youtube,

    • times for the show change as they travel around the world

    • view count seems to be pretty low with average views on YT ~ 30, Twitter views are around the same most of the time, with some outliers having 100+

  • podcasts and interviews along with social media links can be found on their website

  • funds released according to the schedule

Prop 207 – Nouns Studio1 – extension 2023

  • Studio1 proposals have been pretty open-ended, with David not only working on bringing Nouns Sofubi to life, but also introducing Nouns to prominent figures within the industries he works in (toys, film, …)

  • it seems sofubi are finally going to come alive and be featured in Loft store on 14th of July along with small plushies

    • they were originally planned for Q1 2022 but due to covid restrictions in Japan, it got delayed by a lot (especially the painting part)

Prop 208 – NOUNS WHISKY ⌐◨-◨

  • had a pop up at South African whisky show

  • NFT barrels should be up for sale soon

Prop 209 – Mucho Love v1.25 [revised]

  • they continue to make regular events with underfunded organizations – sponsoring local kids’ sports team, renovating a community barbershop, raising and donating money to a dog shelter, and giving Christmas gifts to orphans, …

Prop 211 – Nouns Presence In Chinese Community

  • did community art contest, more are coming

  • spoke at and hosted various events, latest was in Beijing (completed 3 IRL events, 3 more coming)

  • made nounish benches and donated them to Himalayas Art Museum

  • collectables on weibo got claimed within 15minutes (3k items), the account has almost 6k followers

Prop 214 – NounsAI Pod 6 Month Extension

  • constantly adding new features to Nounsai.wtf content creation platform

    • image editing, video generation,

    • ~1000 monthly active users, more than 2M generated images

  • continued work on Knowledge Hub

    • Roko can now answer thousands of questions learned from past Discord chat logs as well as summarise chat history (daily, weekly, and monthly summaries)

    • Nounish Wiki derived from past proposals, enhance with Discord activity

Prop 215 – Uplink.wtf – a marketing platform for all ⌐◧-◧

  • prop is behind schedule, but the launch is scheduled for the end of June (uplink website still points to onchain prop)

  • creator contests on Calabara are used by TNS and other communities to run community contests

Prop 216 – Mandated Round: Private Voting Research Sprint

Prop 218 – Bring Nouns to 2m+ People over 15 Months at Japan’s Best Ski Resort and Integrate Nouns into the Alpine Subculture

  • project is underway, planning and preparing for the next winter season

    • already installed posters, banners, and stickers throughout the resort

    • working on a summer POAP treasure hunt

    • setup public planning channels in Discord to get the community involved

Prop 224 – Nouns x Artmatr

  • created 7 works (Noun 649 – 656)

    • these nouns sold for an average of 29.4 ETH, the average of the previous 7 nouns was 26.2 ETH = a premium of 3.2 ETH

    • the prop cost 150.000 USDC = 21400/piece

    • started sending the artworks to their new owners

  • hosted a party in NY

  • proposed a second onchain proposal

Prop 228 – Noggles Jack Tokyo

  • successfully executed the event, made their own plastic noggles, chip head costume, and other merch

  • lots of pics on Twitter and NCD discord

Prop 229 – Federation

  • been mostly working behind closed doors, recently unveiled “Governance Pools” = auctioning votes

  • some changes were made to the team as ripe is no longer working on this project, wiz will be hiring other people to help out

Prop 231 – Nouns x Nifty Gateway – Global arts & culture curated project

  • the artists are working on their individual pieces (deadline is end of June)

  • launch date tbd

Prop 242 – House of Nouns v2 (revised)

  • adding new features regularly, latest additions are profiles for individual nouners with their voting history shown

  • working on cleaning out their codebase so they can make it public

Prop 244 – Prop Lot: Where Ideas Find People

  • working with verbs team to create and integrate an “idea marketplace”, no public updates just yet

Prop 245 – Nouns: A Movie

Prop 249 – Nouns block graffiti x ETH solo staking

  • The team has built a clean website that lets you see all proposed blocks with noggle graffiti – nogglesgraffiti.wtf

  • You can also use the API at api.nogglesgraffiti.wtf ( /slots — all noggle blocks, /daily — number of noggle blocks per day)

    • Someone also made a Twitter bot that shares every new Noggle Block

  • no payments have been made yet as the team is still working on custom contracts for that

Prop 250 – Noun Nyms

  • being worked on, I’ve seen a demo

  • problems with posting HeyAnoun comments on Twitter, might relay to Discord servers instead
