Submission Criteria
– This is intended to be retroactive funding: please submit completed work and suggest how you might continue to add or improve on your work
– Work must be deployed on or connected to Base and onchain summer in some way.
– We prefer work that is open source and free for others to use.
Who can submit?
To control for spam and be eligible to receive a grant, submission is limited to addresses with an ENS name, 0.025 ETH on mainnet, and to persons who are at least of the age of majority in his or her state or country of residence and are not legal residents of any OFAC sanctioned country or country subject to sanctions.
Official Rules and Grant Recipient Selection
All submissions must comply with these Official Rules.
1. Please note Coinbase reserves the right not to fund any submission that may cause, in Coinbase’s sole determination, legal, regulatory, or compliance risk or reputational harm to Coinbase. Any decision to not fund a top voted submission is at Coinbase’s sole discretion.
2. As the NFT is a free and open mint, we will be ensuring fairness after voting finishes to ensure the grant recipients meet the eligibility, submission, and selection criteria as stated in the Official Rules. We also reserve the right to select grant recipients different from those which may have received the highest votes in the event we believe there was voting manipulation.
3. Grant recipients will need to KYC with Coinbase via a W9 or W8 tax form. International winners may have 30% withheld from their winnings. We will only grant to individuals and entitie
