Entries Due for Nouns Stories Prop House – Nouns Short Shorts Season 1

Nouns Stories is proud to present Nouns Short Shorts, a festival of short films funded through Nouns DAO Prop 180. In this Prop House round we will select 5 animators to produce an original short short featuring nouns. We will premiere all short shorts as part of a our Nouns Short Shorts Animation Festival in 2023.

The Rules

– The short must be funny.
– The short must be at least 15 seconds.
– The short must feature at least one Noun.
– Filmmakers are encouraged to interpret the Noun(s) in your own aesthetic style.
– All submitted animations must be new, unreleased works made specifically for this festival.

How to apply

Your submission on Prop House must include:
– YOUR PORTFOLIO
Either a link to your portfolio or links to a selection of your previous work. Less is more, just show the best.
– YOUR PITCH
Show/tell us what you’re going to do with your 15 second short. Be concise, be creative, be clear, and be funny.
– PROOF OF IDENTITY
Make a post on one of your official social media accounts that tags @nouns_stories and mentions applying to Nouns Short Shorts. You need to provide a link to this post in your Prop House submission to prove you are who you say you are.

CC0 Prizes

– All artists retain the rights to their short short film, however there will be additional USDC prizes and awards available to animators who choose to release their short short film under a CC0 License.
– These CC0 competitions and prizes are open to the public
– animators who weren’t selected through prop house can still submit videos for consideration for these additional prizes.
