Gnars are a new way to fund extreme athletes
We prefer a world where kids aren’t sold energy drinks by their heroes. So as a community of action sports enthusiasts, we’ve formed a DAO to rethink how extreme athletes get sponsored.
Gnars are NFTs on the Ethereum blockchain
Based on Nouns open source and CC0 artwork, they’re stored fully on-chain with no external dependencies. Each one gets you a DAO vote and memberships are available at auction, forever.
Gnars are dedicated to supporting the artistry of extreme athletes
News and Updates
Gnars are Extremely Nounish🤘
Our latest proposal to Nouns DAO is live and voting has commenced! Proposal 189 requests 694.20 ETH for Gnars to continue our extreme proliferation through activations like I LOVE XV in Brazil, but all around the world. The proposal has been the center of some contentious debates, but it has sparked a discussion about the future of Nouns that is certainly a critical one. If you haven’t yet, please take the time to read it! It’s definitely one for the history books.
Today we going for 694.20 ETH!
My “Extremely nounish” proposal is now live, let’s thred the gnar for a closer look:
The video featured at the top of Proposal 189 was produced by a team of Gnars! Huge shout out to Davin, Kai, and Troy for their awesome work. As well as Woody for the music provided by NounSounds. The video is available as a free mint on Zora until the end of the voting period. Kai and Troy also have an active proposal to become Gnarthletes, so if you own any Gnars check out their proposal below then get out and vote!
Meme value or book value?
Why not both :~)
A groundbreaking proposal for Nouns DAO itself to mint the viral Nouns explainer video it commissioned.
Should it pass, the DAO will release this video as a timed open edition.
We have some exciting proposal ideas in the works. Please take a look and give feedback in the discord forum!

He has obtained a grant from Harmony Protocol for NXF Bodyboard and is a contributor to the SurfHive community. Check out his proposal and personal resume below to see him on some sick slabs.
Gnarsauce Hot Sauce
A proposal asking for 0.69 ETH and Gnar 2767 from the treasury to facilitate the package design and cost of a test batch of “Gnarsauce” – a gnars-themed hot sauce to add flavor to your day. It’s perfect for those on fire trying to keep the flames stoked AND for cheering up those having a participation-trophy-only type of day.
