I spent the weekend out in Marfa, Texas, at the Artblocks.io event, talking with builders, collectors, investors, and crypto-curious folks. We about talked NFTs, governance models, DAOs, public goods, and, of course, generative art.
Now, let’s acknowledge where we’re at right now. Candidly, It’s been a very rough week. I personally believe it’ll be the biggest black eye in crypto’s history. But the focus in Marfa was not about FTX or CEXs or even the macroeconomy. The focus was on building real value. It was refreshing and inspiring.
None of the fundamentals of web3 have changed. So, if you are still here and believe in the promise of web3, this is the time to dig your heels in and keep learning and building in the bear market. Your future self will thank you.
