Merry Christmas to those who celebrate! And a Happy Holidays to all!
I hope everyone has enjoyed some time with friends and family touching grass snow and sitting around the dinner table helping onboard that one curious cousin into Lil Nouns and the greater web3 ecosystem. 🫡

Here’s what we cover in this week’s post:
→ Lil Nouns Spending
→ How is the Lil Nouns Treasury Trending?
→ Quiet Week of Proposals
→ Prop House, Round 11 (ends today!)
→ Around the Lil Community
→ Lil Noun Stats
Alright, let’s dive in.
→ Lil Nouns Spending
Lil Nouns has 400 ETH (and 13 Nouns) in our Treasury. But did you know, we’ve spent over 1,600 ETH so far? It’s all been spent on builders who want to grow the Lil Nouns ecosystem.
This week, Mike Good (aka Good Beats) put some numbers together that categorized where all that sweet, sweet ETH has gone—it’s pretty amazing to see—check it out:
Some stats ⌐◨-◨
Lil’s have spent 1621E on 44 on-chain proposals 🤑
55% of that was used to buy 13 @nounsdao tokens 🎉
…
→ How is the Lil Nouns Treasury Trending?
“Okay, so we have spent a lot of money, but aren’t we in a bear market? Are we still earning money?”
Great question! Glad you asked.
And now we have some data to answer.
I would say this is a positive trend in the last 2 weeks. Notable given bear market. Also overlaps with our Noun acquisitions
-Will
Will’s argument was that the uptick was due to the acquisition of Nouns. Which it very well could be!
But some other arguments were made too.
The recent uptick could be due to Lil Block Party (the timing is similar). Or, maybe it was because of sNouns friends joining us. Or maybe it’s just positive sentiment growing for what we’re doing here at Lil Nouns.
Only time will tell, but it’s a good trend. Until then, we’ll keep stacking ETH and Nouns.
→ Quiet Week of Proposals
After last week being the most Proposals in the DAO’s history, this week was much slower (to be expected, with the holiday). Stoked to see what people come up with as we enter into the new year!
We had three Props finish (and one new one go up). No new Props have gone up the last few days, so nothing to vote on this week.
Here are the three Props that closed out this past week:
Proposal 87 [Passed]
Extend Nouns Acquisition Commitee Mandate (75 ETH)
FUNDING REQUEST REDUCED BY 60%
Extend Nouns Acquisition Committee Mandate
Send an additional 75 ETH to NAC Multisig
Purchase more nouns using autobidder
Proposal 86 [Defeated]
The Most LilNounish Game Ever: 12 Oz. Mouse Absurdist Humor Meets LilNouns!
Edward J. Gumsterfeld Saves the World (EJGSTW) is an interactive political cartoon [read: puzzle game] that will eventually grow into its own degen metaverse and serve as a perpetual onboarding mechanism for Nouns, reaching beyond web3 into web2.
Proposal 85 [Passed]
Get-By X Lil Nouns – Second Chances Are Nounish!
1. Create co-branded merchandise to proliferate the Lil Nouns and Nounish DAOs while also raising awareness around Get-By and fair-chance hiring.
2. Support Get-By by funding launch expenses and initial marketing efforts to include Job Fairs.
→ Prop House, Round 11 (ends today!)
Round 11
Funding: 0.35 ETH + 1 LIL × 7
An open round where builders are encouraged to propose any idea they believe will benefit the Lil Nouns ecosystem. Anyone with an ETH address is welcome to propose. Once the proposing period is complete, Lil Nouns holders will vote on their favorite proposals. The proposals with the most votes will get funded.
Here are the top seven choices right now:
Voting ends TODAY! (at 6pm EST) so get out and VOTE! We appreciate your participation.

1/ Should Nouns DAO’s Treasury Stop Being Spent? By 4156
There has been a recurring debate in both Nouns and Lil Nouns about spending our treasuries. This article does a terrific job outlining some of the main pros and cons. Here is an excerpt (full article below) –
Punk 4156 has expressed a viewpoint that is considerably different from that of the other Nouns sections, stating that he believes the Treasury’s sustainability argument is false. He doesn’t think the brand’s growth should be slowed down; on the contrary, he thinks we should keep helping the DAO’s brilliant builders and looking for new ways to disseminate the Nounish spirit globally. He contends that it is inappropriate to measure the success of Nouns in the context of a general bear market, where the NFT market’s volume is down 95% from its peak. Since last year, the builders’ work has grown tremendously, including hundreds of people in the creation of their products within the Nouniverse and bringing noggles to the screens of millions of people.
2/ Spreading Cheer
Thanks to the Prop House round – lil acts of kindness, Lil Al brought food to the teachers at his local elementary school. This is very Nounish.
