Today we come to talk about the new way in which fashion is starting to be created in a more sustainable and convenient way for the final consumer. We bring you an article about the work done by Danit Peleg (one of the most relevant designers in 3D printed fashion). If you are interested in knowing how in the future you will download your clothes instead of going to buy them you can not miss this article.

The fashion industry is considered the fifth sector with the highest trading volume worldwide. In this sector where it is so important to reinvent oneself and anticipate new fashions, fashion shows are considered to show conceptual fashions that finally end up being adapted to the final customer.
Although designers have traditionally created their garments by making 2D sketches, the last decade has seen the sector focus its prototyping process on 3D models with which they can capture their ideas as closely as possible. This has allowed designers to work in a much more personalized way their prototypes and reduce the number of attempts that must be made to find a prototype that embodies the designer’s idea.
The use of this technique is really widespread in the process of creating garments but not in the production of the final product, which is still done in the traditional way.
Danit Peleg is one of the world’s leading experts & innovators in 3D-printed clothes and textiles. She has been exploring the different ways of creating garments with 3D printers for more than a decade and has created pieces that have been exhibited at the Opening Ceremony of the 2016 Rio Paralympics, Triannale di Milano, Maker Faire, The National Center for Craft & Design, The Franklin Institute, Landesmuseum Württemberg Stuttgart…
We are happy to say that this innovative designer has been part of the Nouns community for a year now, creating synergies between her work and the noggles. During this time she has been creating designs inspired by different Nouns, creating pieces that really catch the eye and arouse the curiosity of those who see them.
These designs have attracted so much attention that NFT Paris has contacted her to encourage her to be part of the event that will take place on February 24-25. It is a convention that will be attended by more than 15,000 people and will be attended by luxury brands such as Prada, LVMH, Farfetch and Lacoste.
In order to take advantage of this great opportunity to showcase his designs and noggles, he is looking to create a collection of 5 looks inspired by Nouns and noggles. To showcase the designs it would feature real models along with an interactive experience that would include an AR installation and holograms representing the collection & Nouns.
Technology makes us evolve and allows us to take our imagination to a new level. In this case, we can see that 3D-Printed Fashion allows us to create final products that were previously impossible due to technical limitations.
If you are interested in knowing a little more about this new way of creating garments, we recommend you to watch the TED Talks that Danit Peleg did in 2015 talking about the future and applications of this new technique.
