Rage Quit or Happy Split

Rage Quit is once again making the DAO headlines with now a second version of the RQ proposal posted on-chain for voting. Some Heyanoun users accused the verbs team of delaying the RQ implementation, but the reality seems to be that they just prioritized updates to the DAO and Auction House contracts and are now spending a lot of time with the Private voting Prop House.

The also seem to be different opinions on the role of RQ in the DAO, some see it purely as a security mechanism of last resort for the DAO (to allow members to leave when there is a threat of a 51% attack), while others wish for an elegant way to exit the DAO.

The verbs team set up a Snapshot vote to determine the urgency of developing an RQ function – vote here.

Private Voting

The latest mandate round of PropHouse – Private Voting Research Sprint ended with incredible 20 submitted proposals! It might be a bit hard to digest these (it sure is for me), so I hope we’ll see some recaps and Twitter threads explaining the differences.
