Prop Template: Treasure Hunt

tl;dr

Description

After Rio was taken by Nouns during NFT.Rio, we’ll bring them back to the city. We’ll invite people to run against time and find as many Nouns as they can all over Rio de Janeiro’s most famous spots. When the time runs out, whoever took the most pictures with different Nouns posters will win the big prize!

Roadmap

After proposal approval, we’ll take 2 weeks to develop the game. We’ll set up all details to make it happen, such as choosing where the posters will be hidden and the schedule. We’ll also use these first two weeks to print the posters and some stickers that will be part of the game too, we’ll also make shirts to give as a reward for the participants. Then we’ll take two more weeks to promote the game online so people can make sure they will be available on the date. We’ll make a huge effort to bring people outside of the community to play with us.

The game will take place one month after proposal approval. During the week after, we’ll keep creating content (ex: posting photos) about the game on Twitter and at the end of that week, we’ll release a video covering the entire event. We believe that video and the pictures shared on social media during the game will be strong assets to spread Nouns here in Brazil.

Future

We are on a mission to Nounify the wonderful city of Rio de Janeiro and this is just the beginning. Both of us spent a lot of time playing and also creating riddles since we were kids, so we decided to start with an amazing treasure hunt in the streets of Rio. If supported by the community, after that we plan to start many Nouns-related online puzzles, riddles, and digital treasure hunts. You can see the walkthrough of my favorite creation here.
